It was a wonderful weekend of Jersey cattle and camaraderie that celebrated a true legend in the Jersey breed. As Ernie said during the sale opening, "It takes a village to develop a great cow". Several members of the 'village' shared their favorite Veronica memories and they were included in a special section of the catalog that you can now read online. We hope you enjoy their stories and get a true sense of Veronica. Click here to read the stories and view the catalog.

For only the 2nd time in 27 years, the US Jersey Association has a new 97-point cow! The committee unanimously agreed that Huronia Centurion Veronica is 97! It is an honor to work with such a tremendous individual on a daily basis. She gives us so much pleasure with her personality, her competitive spirit and her aggressive attitude. As we watch her offspring develop, we know that Veronica will continue to contribute to the progress of the breed for generations to come. This is a humbling day for everyone at Arethusa Farm and we thank all those that has been involved with Veronica’s development through the years.
